1.  Scam Sites

If you want to earn money at home, you have to be wary of the scam sites.  These are sites that are out there to take your opinion for nothing.  They either don’t pay you at all or only pay you part of what you’re owed.  To avoid this from becoming your reality you need to be very selective when you choose a survey site.  Make sure you look for as many reviews as possible on the site through the Internet.

2.  Join The Membership Sites

There are two types of survey sites, free sites and paid sites.  You’d think that the free sites would be better for you, but you’d be wrong, dead wrong.  You get what you pay for, the free survey sites have databases that aren’t updated too frequently with offers, not to mention the offers that are given are very low-paying.  To make matters worse, there is a large percentage of offers which don’t even pay you at all.  All they do is give you a coupon or gift certificate.  To avoid this, you need to join a quality paid survey site that constantly updates it’s database with offers.

So what kind of things you need to know about your to be successful at this?  Here is what you need to keep in mind:

1.  Take Surveys As They Come

When you’re doing a work at home survey, you need to make sure that you take them as soon as they are sent to you via e-mail.  When a survey offer is sent to you, it is also sent to thousands of other people and there is usually a limited amount of spots available, so you need to ensure that you secure your place in taking that survey.  How do you do that?  By filling it out as soon as possible.

2.  Sign Up With Several Sites

It pays to sign up with several good paid survey sites.  If you pick the right ones your e-mail will be flooded with survey offers.  This is more of an advanced tip, however, keep this in mind for down the road.  If you really want to make the big bucks it pays to join more than one survey site.

1.    Do Some Research

Not all work at home surveys are going to work out for you.  Some survey sites will either not pay you the money you’ve earned or they get behind in payments and you miss out on the money.  It’s important to pick your survey site wisely and the best way to do that is through research the company on Google.  Check to see what people are saying about them, also check to see if the company has any testimonials on their page and in particular, check to see if there are pictures attached to them as well.

2.    Listen To Your Gut

Before you choose a site, listen to what your gut is telling you.  Do they feel like they are a legitimate company?  You can’t be too careful in this industry so often times when you’ve done your research you need to then also go with what your gut is telling you.
